Fashion isn't all about the amount of clothes you have, it's not about the name brands that you wear either. To be able to walk in a room and have everyone talk about you, isn't about how much curves you showing. In today society, there are so many competition on who's gonna make a statement by wearing this or who is going to get that dude's attention by wearing that. To me being fashionable is much more than showing my curves, it's about looking polished.
1. Your hair- That's a must. If the hair isn't fixed than nothing you put on that day will do. And to have a polished hairstyle, you will need to make it look as natural and as glamourous as possible. No tight ponytails, no loud colors, nothing over the top. Even though your hair has to be fixed, you can't and should not let your hair take over the show, if you know what I mean.
2. Your make up- Remember when you think about the word polished, think about looking as natural as possible. The same rule applies for make up. No loud eyeshadow & blushes, No shiny lipgloss either. Eyebrows should be nicely trimmed not bald then traced with dark pencils. Also remember that make up suppose to enhance you not cover you.
3. Your body- Your body should be waxed, nails should be nicely manicured and a pedicure wouldn't hurt also. When dressed your outfit shouldn't be too tight, too short or showing too much cleavage. Beware of the low cuts, bra showing and underwear lining. Not sexy. Though being colorful is the new thing now, beware when trying to fit in this club because looking like a disturbed teen is not appealing. Dress accordingly.
4. Last but certainly not least, your attitude- After it all said and done, looking polished is only half the work. How you conduct and carry yourself will add the final touch. Choose your words wisely and make sure finish your sentences. Make eye contact when addressing someone and be confident in yourself.
Until next time, Au Revoir.
